We arrived in Pretoria, South Africa in early January, 1998. Thys and Dierdre de Beer were our first hosts in the country. After several days in Pretoria, we flew to Maseru, Lesotho, where we were the guests of a Bible College in this African country's capital city. Brothers Samuel, Mark and Alan were our hosts during our stay in Lesotho. From Lesotho, we traveled north to Johannesburg (South Africa), where we were the guests of Neels and Marietjie Claassen. After Johannesburg, we traveled with two other friends, Jacqui and Charlotte, by car to Durban. We were hosted by the Mitchell family in Durban until our flight to India.
